What is Wireless Networking?

Wireless Networking refers to the type of broadband connection where information is sent from and arrives at a computer through transmission towers. Wireless networks are telephone or computer networks that use radio as their carrier or physical layer.

Wireless Networking means that computers are allowed to share printers, files or an internet connection without any wires between them. Wireless networking hardware uses radio frequencies to transmit information between the individual computers. A wireless network hub or router is used to bridge the wireless network to traditional ethernet or home phoneline networks, or provide a shared internet connection.
